We arrange insurance with providers familiar with Chinese EVs. EVDIRECT handles payment setup on your behalf. Typically, for imported Chinese cars, third-party insurance will be provided.
How it works: You pay our AED 15,000 concierge fee to start the import process. Vehicle cost (~AED 130,000) and shipping (~AED 7,000) are paid directly to dealers and logistics. Customs & clearance (~AED 16,500, which is approximately 11-12% of vehicle value) is paid directly to the clearance agent. Optional add-ons (warranty, charger, insurance) are paid to EVDIRECT and we handle payment to suppliers. Total estimated cost: ~AED 170,350 before add-ons.
